HOW IT ALL STARTED
Our Story
Our founder Vickie Lobo is a cancer survivor. After having cancer her life changed. She went on a mission of service to her community. She aimed to get the community, to demonstrate caring, and to love thy neighbor. She founded Knock Knock Angels because she wanted to give people a fresh start after traumatic events including domestic violence, homelessness, neglect, or addiction .
We have all had a moment when all we needed was for someone to care enough to lend a helping hand. Our organization extends that arm of love and caring to our communities. We help make houses into homes. We provide beds for children that have been sleeping in cars or on floors. We provide dining room tables to families that have been eating on park benches. We provide services to sustain a healthy and who lifestyle. We care!
The feeling you get from helping others is something that many have never experienced. Working with our organization is good for your soul. Our donors get to see how their donations help those in need. We use social media to show them how they have blessed others and it creates a beautiful chain reaction of service in the community.
We are changing lives little by little, bed by bed, one family, one person at a time and we love every second of it!

THE CALLING & DEVOTION
Our Mission
Knock Knock Angels seeks donations to help families and individuals in our community. Our goal is to help those facing challenges help themselves. We give them hope and purpose: changing one life at a time. We provide single parents with new furnishings, make home improvements, and present them with donated gifts which in turn help their children thrive. We hold the hands of seniors who’ve been neglected or abused and provide them with clean, warm, safe environments to live in. Veterans receive assistance from us in the form of home retrofitting to meet the physical or emotional handicaps they may have developed while serving our country. We not only strive to meet a family’s essential needs but work to help them envision a brighter future.
Core Values
The work we do for these families all starts with our core values in mind.
The needs present in today’s world are complex and deeply interconnected. Our program areas complement one another and act as a comprehensive response to poverty.
- Transformation: Individuals and communities are transformed into ones with dignity and wholeness through a spiritual, social, economic, and physical change.
- Sustainability: Lasting impact is realized through locally sustainable programs and services administered by our partners.
- Empowerment: Families are grateful to have a place to call home. They are motivated to get back to work without the stress of wondering where they'll sleep or what address they can put on a job application.
- Collaboration: The means of development are demonstrated through partnering with the local community, like-minded organizations, and individuals. With our partner Chase bank we will aid them financial literacy to maintain their home properly after being homeless.

Our Team
These people are not special by their skills, but they are truly special by their heart.
